SYRACUSE, NY (June 13, 2018) – Today, NBT Bank celebrated the opening of its new downtown Syracuse branch with a ribbon-cutting and the presentation of a $2,500 contribution to Syracuse Behavioral Health.
NBT recently relocated its downtown Syracuse branch from 300 South State Street to a new office at Clinton Square that offers enhanced services and parking. Business began in the new location at 126 North Salina Street on Monday, April 30.
“NBT Bank is proud to be a part of Syracuse and truly understands our customers’ needs here,” said NBT Bank Regional President Rick Shirtz. “We wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to serve our customers and the community from a more modern and convenient banking facility. We have completely renovated our new space and are now able to offer our downtown customers a better experience through an easy-deposit ATM, two drive-up lanes and off-street parking.”
Shirtz added, “At NBT Bank, we have the opportunity to see first-hand how Syracuse Behavior Health supports local families and positively impacts the community. In recognition and support of their efforts, we are pleased to present the organization with a contribution as part of our grand opening activities.”
NBT Bank will also be sponsoring special activities at the Syracuse Chiefs Reopening Day game on Saturday, June 30 at NBT Bank Stadium in celebration of this new location in Syracuse.
